Making it in NYC: The Era of New Manufacturing is now open to the public. The exhibition will be on view at Gallery 92 at The Brooklyn Navy Yard Center, BLDG 92, until the end of the year. The show features manifold objects that represent 30 local manufacturers and makers, framed by our exhibition design.
The gallery exhibition will be enhanced with a series of public programs on maker-related topics, such as panel discussions on energy efficient design, sourcing and producing locally, and service and support networks for makers.
Open House New York will host a series of tours titled Making it Here that will highlight manufacturing communities in New York City. On June 6th, the Making it Here tour will visit the Brooklyn Navy Yard, with stops at several manufacturing spaces, including SITU Fabrication in Building 132. Find out more and get tickets here.
